1. PUBLIC SAFETY PLAN IMPLEMENTATION

2023 activities include publicizing and prioritizing policy suggestions from previous public safety plans for St. Louis and working toward their implementation, as well as working with the Center for Policing Equity on their plan implementation
2. TRAUMA INFORMED CARE/ SAFE SPACES FOR YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS

2023 activities include launching and publicizing the VPC Youth Safe Spaces Programming grant funding in partnership with the City of St. Louis using ARPA funds and making grants for safe spaces, Recreation Center Late Night Hours and Downtown Youth Zone

3. RESPONSE TO NONFATAL SHOOTING

2023 activities include publicizing the Gun Violence Response Network available services and expanding mental health supports for victims and community residents that have experienced gun violence, and supporting the implementation of Handle with Care

2023 activities include mapping of hospital and police data on violent assaults, creating neighborhood profiles, staffing Cure Violence Steering Committee, and coordinating social service partners.
